About the director

English — Rohit Srinath is a Cinematographer/ Editor/ Gaffer born in Delhi, India. His short doc El Jogador (2022) premiered at the Gimme Some Truth Documentary Festival (2022) and his short film Level One premiered at the Student World Impact Short Film Festival (2022). Srinath is a student member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers as well as the Indian Cinematographer Forum and was a volunteer for Reel Pride Film Festival. He serves as Camera Assistant with unscripted and scripted productions with Wookey Films and Farpoint Films in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Currently, Srinath works as Camera Assistant, B Cam Operator and Cinematographer, Editor and Colourist for production companies in Winnipeg. His credits include television shows : Alter Boys (2022), Cancelled (2022), CMQD (2023) and commercials. He is the first member of his family to get into the arts and grew up watching movies and learning how films are made, as well as the methods and efforts put in by the crew behind the scenes.
